So Black Friday approaches this week where I'm sure a headline will arise where an employee will get trampled to death in some store in America. Fun.

Not to mention the first and last time I attended this event was last year to get a low cost vacuum cleaner for my dorm room, and come to find a women has stuffed the last five into her shopping cart before I get there.

So yeah, not worth it, I'd rather sleeeeep D:

SO! The purpose of this journal was to say hey-- I know a lot of online stores that benefit shelter animals/wildlife and some where you can send a direct profit to. Shopping for Christmas starts around this time, and I do them majority of mine of the internet...

And not to mention that any amount donated to your local animal shelter, whether it is a few bucks, some dog toys, or used towels help those in need.

So yeah, I definitely encourage you to buy some gits this Christmas from these sites. I've already bought four or so, and adopted a Snow Leopard for my aunt

So let me just say that things have ever so slightly changed since the last time I was not lazy to write an entry.

I've changed my major. This major was not offered at the school I had been attending for the past two years. Furthermore, me being me, I decided to pull this off at the last minute, which meant not really saying a proper farewell to some of the best friends I will ever have, but also uprooting myself for all that I had built, or rather, I thought I was building for two years.

BUT! That being said, I changed my major to animal sciences. My ultimate goal is to spend the rest of my life helping animals in some shape, manner, or form. I just had this, 'enlightenment' you could say that I am not going to be here for all that long, what do I want to be defined by? That is, I want to be defined by my compassion and ability to dedicate my life to a cause in helping another. So having this realization, and that my major at that school would not have fulfilled this, I felt the sudden need for change. It has been, in the beginning, one of the hardest things I have done to/for myself, but now, the goodness is showing through, and I could not really be anymore happier knowing that I have set myself for what I believe is the right path right now. I have developed principals in that I believe I need to do, and I'm gonna do my best to do it!

So, yaaaay!

Not to mention there is someone who re-entered my life, and has helped me in ways that I thought would never be possible. To express my gratitude would take up another journal and several hours worth of time!


Oh, Flo-Jo and Teddy, the two kitten I rescued back in May, are HUGE! They also have quite the personalities too! Wherever I will go in life, they will follow!
